Playtime offers customers a wide selection of Class C and Class A motor homes. From easy-to-operate van style Class C's to the more luxurious Class A's. A short description of the Classes will help customers chose the right motorhome for their trip.
Class C rentals are sometimes referred to as mimi-motor-homes, and are scaled-down versions of Class A motorhome with van style front end separate from the main living area. Class C units weigh less than Class A units and range from from 10,000 to 12,000 pounds with lengths between 20 to 31 feet. Class C's will normally have sleeping bunks atop the cab and may or may not have slides. Sleeps two to six, if you include children. Have less features, space and privacy than larger units, but is more economical to operate and is easier to drive and park.
Class A units are "bus style" motorhome with an all-in-one body built on heavy duty truck or bus chassis. This class motorhome ranges in weight from 15,000 to 35,000 pounds and range between 22 to 40 feet. Class A motorhome rentals are more luxurious and come with more of the creature comforts like satellite systems, full kitchen, full size bathtub or shower, leveler systems and room slides for spacious wide open living area. Fuel mileage for Class A units will range from 6 to 9 miles per gallon.
